Traditional Day Master reading

Xin: Fine Metal whose clarity can be revealed

Xin draws attention to fineness, clarity and the conditions that allow a material’s qualities to show. A Day Master reading can explore discernment, sensitivity to detail and care over how something is expressed. The image also contains a tension between refinement and excessive scrutiny. Surrounding Earth, Water and Fire shape how the classical texts develop this theme.
