BaZi Luck Pillars Calculator: Starting Age and Decades
Luck pillars advance or reverse from the birth month pillar. The year-stem polarity and traditional male or female rule choose direction; solar-term distance sets the starting age.

Reading the start
Three days to the adjacent month-opening solar term correspond to one year of age. The minute-based rule converts one day to four months and one two-hour interval to ten days; the selectable day-based rule rounds the interval differently.
Reading the decades
The first luck pillar is the next month pair in the chosen direction. Each following period lasts ten years. The age column uses nominal year counts; the starting date marks the first period transition. Enter a China Standard Time clock (UTC+08:00); the result reports a calendar date rather than a starting-clock timestamp.
