Three Meetings seasonal groups

Three Meetings are four runs of three neighbouring branches: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The sequence is seasonal and consecutive, unlike the four-place geometry of a Three Harmony trine.

How the inherited set is built

Three neighbours complete one season

Each group occupies three consecutive branch positions: Tiger–Rabbit–Dragon for spring, Snake–Horse–Goat for summer, Monkey–Rooster–Dog for autumn, and Pig–Rat–Ox across the end of the circle for winter.

Two selected animals can identify part of a meeting, but the full 三会 group needs all three branches. Pair pages therefore print the missing member instead of treating a partial set as complete.

What it establishes
It establishes membership in one consecutive seasonal run and the phase assigned to that completed three-branch meeting.
What it does not establish
It is not a Three Harmony trine and does not by itself say that two people are compatible. The branches can also carry harm, punishment or another relation at the same time.

Year, month, day and hour stay distinct

Where Three Meetings enters a chart

Read the group across all four pillars rather than only the birth-year animals. A meeting may be assembled within one chart or across two charts, and the number of present members changes what is actually complete.

Phase names on this page use the same generating and controlling system described in the Five Phases reference.
