六合

Six Harmony pairs

Six Harmony assigns every branch one fixed partner. It is a one-to-one alignment on the twelve-position cycle, separate from trines, clashes and phase interaction.

How the inherited set is built

One partner for every branch

The twelve branches divide cleanly into six pairs: Zi with Chou, Yin with Hai, Mao with Xu, Chen with You, Si with Shen, and Wu with Wei. No branch belongs to two Six Harmony pairs.

A pair page keeps Six Harmony beside any relation that overlaps it. Tiger–Pig and Snake–Monkey, for example, are also Six Break pairs; calling one relation does not erase the other.

What it establishes
It establishes that two branches occupy one of the six fixed 六合 pairings and gives the exact two coordinates involved.
What it does not establish
It does not establish a complete chart match, emotional ease, or a guaranteed relationship outcome. Stem phases and the other six branch positions across two charts remain separate evidence.

Year, month, day and hour stay distinct

Where Six Harmony enters a chart

In a Four Pillars comparison, look for the two branches wherever they occur—year, month, day or hour. Their layer tells you where the pairing appears; the Six Harmony label only names the fixed branch relation.
